About the Event
Bob Steelquist has been photographing sandhill cranes of the Pacific Coast for over six years, in their winter roosts in the Sacramento Delta and breeding habitats of the Kenai Peninsula—and everywhere in between. His presentation introduces the three breeding populations of the Pacific Flyway, factors that likely influence their distribution, their uncertain future and—most important—the human/crane connection that binds us in a changing world. Bob is an author, naturalist, educator and photographer based on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington.
